Tanglin Shopping Centre Edit page

From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle

Tanglin Shopping Centre, at the junction of Orchard Road and Tanglin Road, is a great place to explore for those who are interested in antiques, arts and crafts and other Asian fare.

A somewhat a dim and gloomy place, this shopping mall houses the largest number of antique, art and craft shops in Singapore. Within the Building, HaKaren Art Gallery, Kwan Hua Art Gallery and Akemi Gallery are all good places to start your treasure hunt. Renee Hoy Fine Arts has an exquisite collection of Asian treasures, while try Antiques of the Orient for a superb collection of antique prints, rare historical books and reproduction historial maps from all over Asia and beyond. Gentle bargaining in all places is quite acceptable. The excellent Select Books can also be found here.
