Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom
From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle
|
The Butterfly Park & Insect Kingdom at Sentosa is just next to the cable-car station, more than 2,500 live butterflies from more than 50 species flit and flutter around you between lush tropical plants inside the huge conservatory of the Butterfly Park.
In the adjacent Insect Kingdom, there are thousands of mounted butterflies, and more than 3,000 mounted bugs, including some of the world's largest and rarest creepy crawlies. You will see rhino beetles, Dynasties hercules (the world's largest beetles) and scorpions, among other, thankfully dead, creepy-crawlies. Kids, at least, will be entranced. Don't miss the impressive firefly enclosure. A sure treat for nature lovers.
