Perak Lodge is one of the best budget Hotels in Singapore and the pick of the bunch. Charmingly located in Little India, Perak Lodge occupies a beautifully restored Peranakan-style Shophouse along Perak Road. There's a quiet communal area where you serve yourself breakfast and use the Internet. Some of the cheaper rooms don't have windows but they're all nicely furnished and the staff is very helpful.
Perak Lodge is ten minutes' walk from Bugis Junction, a five-minute Taxi ride from Orchard Road. The Hotel has a lovely courtyard with a fish pond. Useful electronic room safes.
Perak Lodge is also a good bet for long-stay Accommodation. Around S$1400 a month will get you a comfortable superior room with special laundry rates, while the higher rate gets you a larger room.
