Le Meridien is a block from the Istana at the intersection of Clemenceau Avenue. Above the Meridien Hotel Shopping Centre, it housing the sprawling 24-hour Kopitiam basement food court.
The atrium lobby, with its glass-panel elevators and line drawings, is beginning to look dated, but this is still a decent hotel. The rooms are quite pleasant and the Chinese screens on the walls add a distinctive touch.
Main restaurants serve Asian specialities a la carte and Continental buffets for lunch and dinner.
