Guan Hoe Soon Restaurant is a no-frills but equally popular eating place as Casa bom Vento. Established in 1953, this outlet has been in business for 45 years, and is reputed to have sold Buah Keluak to the Japanese during the Japanese Occupation.
Guan Hoe Soon Restaurant remains one of the few places able to recreate numerous Peranakan favourites. The restaurant is set in an idyllic atmosphere where the main concerns are the quality and authenticity of the food served.
Guan Hoe Soon Restaurant always get it just right with the cuisine's closely guarded spices, and of course, the freshest ingredients. Other dishes include Buah Keluak, Babi Pongteh, Otah and Udang Kuah Pedas Nanas.
