Chinatown Point Edit page

From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle

Chinatown Point, in prominent yellow, is situated in the cultural and historical Chinatown precinct, which boasts of a prime location and easy accessibility. The modern architecture of the building and the string of hip shops exemplify how a fusion of rich culture and modernity is possible. This, incidentally, is the essence of Chinatown Point. The latter houses a variety of shops, restaurants and a treasure trove of handicraft shops at Podium B, also known as the Singapore Handicraft Centre.

Chinatown Point is a bargain-hunter's paradise. Apart from tonnes of souvenir handicrafts, you'll find anything from shoes, cosmetics, clothes and travel bags to Chinese products including lacquer-ware and those painted umbrellas.

With the completion of Chinatown MRT Station in 2002, more shoppers are flocking to Chinatown Point, a cultural and modern haven for both Singaporeans and tourists alike.
