Chapati Edit page

From Singapore Hotels & Singapore Lifestyle

Chapati is actually a North Indian flat bread that is made up of wheat flour and water. The flat dough is cooked on a griddle. The chapati is ready when you see brown specs that fluffs up from the dough surface.

Chapati can be eaten with a variety of meat curry like mutton or chicken curry. Another type of curry that goes well with chapati is keema, a mincemeat curry.

A Punjabi-styled chapati has it with a lentil curry called dhall.
